Here are the steps to get started:

Step 1:  Call or text us at 949-228-9308 to book a 30 minutes initial consultation for free!

Step 2: You will be asked to fill out medical history, consent and  agreement forms. We will be conducting physical evaluations (such as taking measurements, BMI, vitals, etc., as well as obtaining lab panels. 

Step 3: A follow-up is conducted in office or via tele-health  (approximately 30-40 mins; consultation fee applies) to go over labs & diagnostic results. If this program is appropriate for you, then we as your provider will then discuss the customized weight loss program that is tailored specifically to you. You will be provided dietary and exercise coaching that is customized for you. The provider will be discussing prescription medication assisted weight loss protocols that are catered to you prior to receiving them at your own home. 

Step 4: Customized medications I Supplements will be picked up at our clinic or delivered to you.

Step 6: Follow-up with labs is required every 3 months as well as weekly follow-ups over the phone, ideally for the first four weeks. 3 month follow-up visit in-office is required to evaluate the progress and meeting goals throughout the weight loss process.  We will review track progress and answer any questions or concerns.  We will evaluate lifestyle measures, assess needs for adjusting pharmacotherapy or recommend other interventions. We will reassess measurement, acknowledge achievements, as well as adjust goals where necessary. 

What is Semaglutide? 

Semaglutide is a human-derived glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist recommended as a supplement to a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity for long-term weight management in adults whose initial body mass index (BMI) falls outside the healthy range.

At BABYFACE, we do not prescribe the brand name Semaglutide, but we do provide the generic compounded version (Semaglutide) in an injectable form with added B6 (to prevent nausea). 

Semaglutide should be utilized alongside a reduced-calorie meal plan and increased physical activity. It contains semaglutide and should not be combined with other products containing semaglutide or other GLP-1 receptor agonist medicines. The safety and effectiveness of Semaglutide in conjunction with other prescription, over-the-counter, or herbal weight loss products are unknown. Additionally, the safety and effectiveness of Semaglutide for use in individuals under 18 years of age have not been established.

Individuals using semaglutide for weight loss may encounter:

1. Fatigue

2. Gastrointestinal problems like diarrhea, constipation, and flatulence

3. Headaches

4. Stomach-related problems such as nausea, vomiting, pain, or bloating

Among those newly starting semaglutide, gastrointestinal issues are the most frequently reported. However, it’s possible to mitigate these side effects by commencing with a lower dosage and gradually increasing it. Our formulation of Semaglutide includes B6. Research indicates that incorporating vitamin B6 can significantly alleviate nausea and stomach-related discomfort.

Do not use Semaglutide if:

1. If you or any family member have a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), a type of thyroid cancer.

2. History of medullary thyroid cancer

3. History of gallbladder disease

4. History of pancreatitis

5. Multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2)

6. If you have diabetes and already take a different medication, talk to your physician about acceptable (and safe) combinations of diabetes medication.

7. Pregnant 

8. Are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed

9. Trying to get pregnant 

10. If you have experienced a severe allergic reaction to Semaglutide or any of its ingredients, it is important to disclose this information.
